Quail run is a small gated community of homes and townhomes (lot carries with property) located North-NE of Alton Baker park near the Willamette River bike path. This neighborhood was built in the early 2000s, and features 80 free-standing homes, and 27 attached townhouses. The area is close to the UO, Autzen Stadium, Willamette River, and Millrace Canal.
The Quail run neighborhood is less than a mile from the Centennial Marketplace area of West Springfield. Springfield's business-friendly revitalization efforts have begun to attract desirable to merchants to this area, including Pursue Fitness, Benedetti's Gourmet meats, and locally-owned restaurants, a popular Karaoke bar, and more.
Throughout summer many people in this area enjoy walking to Eugene Emerald's Minor League Baseball team games. In the Fall, the start of football brings excitement to the area, along with public parking issues. Not so for Quail Run, a gate community. Yet homes are within walking distance of Autzen Stadium and University of Oregon football games. For those who don't want to walk, take a Eugene Pedicab before and after the game!
